Bio

Psycho The Musical is an unauthorized musical parody of the classic film Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock. First produced at The Ritz Theater in Waycross, Georgia in 1992, Psycho The Musical was written by John Youmans at the urging of theater founders Nancy and John Campbell to create a show for adults at Halloween Over the years the show developed a large regional cult following. In 2016, MASQ Entertainment produced the West Coast Premier at the MACHA Theatre in West Hollywood to rave reviews. This production was the first to feature an all male cast showcasing Los Angeles' top drag performers. As a result of the success of the West Hollywood production, "Psycho" would then play to sold out audiences in San Francisco, Palm Springs and Long Beach, Ca in 2017 and 2018.
